Alison Doody
Alison Doody (born 11 November 1966) is a famous Irish actress and model. She made her feature film debut as a Bond actress with the film A View to a Kill, (1985). Then she appeared in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989. Doody played Nazi sympathizing archaeologist Elsa Schneider. Siobhan donnevan starred part of A Prayer for the Dying in 1987. Charlotte played Taffin (in 1998) as well as Rebecca Flannery played Major League II. Approached by a photographer Doody began to model, which turned into a career in commercial modelling. Doody tried to stay clear of the glamour of nude roles that was a rule she applied in her acting. When she was spotted by the director of casting in an upcoming James Bond movie, she was cast of A View to a Kill in the role of Jenny Flex. Doody was in John Willis Screen World Volume 2 as one of 12 promising new actors for 1986. 38. Doody was just turning 18 years old at the time she was cast in the character of Bond girl. Doody is the youngest Bond girl to date. Another early movie played a tiny part in the film in the role of IRA member Siobhan Donovan in A Prayer for the Dying (1987) which starred Mickey Rourke. Doody played Archibald Craven's wife Lilias, in his dream in the television adaptation The Secret Garden. In a Jim Henson fantasy episode The Storyteller in 1988, she played Sapsorrow alongside John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. The first time she appeared was in the 1988 movie Taffin with Pierce Brosnan. Next, she played Dr. Elsa Schneider as an Austrian archaeologist and Nazi-sympathizer opposite Harrison Ford. Doody played the role with Sean Connery, who played the character's father. Doody played the role in the British mini-series Selling Hitler with Jonathan Pryce. The film was based on The Hitler Diaries publication scam. Then, she moved to Hollywood. She was replaced by Cybill Shepherd as the L'Oreal spokesperson part. She then played Flannery Sheen's wife and agent, opposite Charlie Sheen, as Major League II became available in 1994. Doody, who had been away from acting for almost 10 years, returned in 2003 to play a small role in her role in the British comedy The Actors in which Michael Caine appeared as her in a scene during an awards ceremony. In 2004, Doody starred with Patrick Swayze alongside a TV adaptation of King Solomon's Mines. Also Doody appeared as a character in Benjamin's Struggle (2005), an essay on the Holocaust. Doody made an appearance in Danny Dyer 2010's The Rapture. Later, she guest-starred on RTE's the medical drama The Clinic. She was also set to appear in the remake of the horror classic The Asphyx. However, that project eventually stalled. Pam Jefferson, the character that she played in the comedy series E4's Beaver Falls during its first season that ran for two years. In 2014, she appeared on We Still Kill the Old Way (2014). The Almeria tierra de film award was presented to her on November 21 in 2018. She also received an award at the Almeria Walk of Fame.
