Will Ferrell
Will Ferrell rose to fame for his role as a character on "Saturday Night Live," before appearing in such large-screen comedy films as 'Elf"Anchorman," and 'Talladega Nights.' Will Ferrell was born in Irvine in the year 1967. He began his comedy career as part of the group from Los Angeles called The Groundlings. After his seven-year stint as a Saturday night Live cast member, Ferrell became one of the most renowned comedic actors on the market by releasing off-color films such as Old School (2003) or Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004). Ferrell was also a co-founder of the streaming video site Funny or Die and enjoyed his success as a voice actor in animated films such as Megamind (2010). John William Ferrell was conceived in Irvine, California on July 16, 1967. Will Ferrell is the eldest child of Righteous Brothers keyboardist Lee Ferrell (and Kay Ferrell), but he wasn't exactly the school clown while he was in University High School. Ferrell who was calm and quiet and reserved, decided to leave his mark in football, where he set a school-record for most field goals that he made. Even in the more comfortable living space of his suburban residence, Ferrell displayed little of the outrageous, humorous exclamations that would later establish his career. In an interview with Esquire his mother stated that Ferrell was "very calm and even-tempered. He was very easygoing." "You do you know those little Matchbox cars? Will will line up his Matchbox cars by himself and be utterly content. It would be like, "You want to visit Disneyland today, or arrange your cars?' It's a hard conversation for him to consider. "That's not to say that Ferrell was a total straight-laced man. One glimpse of Ferrell's comedy talent was displayed every morning in high school when Ferrell disguised himself in order to announce the events of the day over the loudspeaker system. After graduating in 1986, Ferrell went to the University of Southern California at Los Angeles, where he joined the Delta Tau fraternity and pursued the field of sports journalism with a degree.
