Will Ferrell rose to fame for his role as a character on "Saturday Night Live," before appearing in such large-screen comedy films as 'Elf"Anchorman," and 'Talladega Nights.' Will Ferrell was born in Irvine in the year 1967. He began his comedy career as part of the group from Los Angeles called The Groundlings. After his seven-year stint as a Saturday night Live cast member, Ferrell became one of the most renowned comedic actors on the market by releasing off-color films such as Old School (2003) or Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004).
